When reading the article on promise chaining, I was initially confused as to why in the example where an
imgwas removed in a call tosetTimeoutthe image would not actually disappear from the webpage until thealertdialog was closed. I have added a note linking to the article on the JavaScript event loop to elucidate what's going on for readers who may, like me, at first be puzzled by this behavior.
