I am currently a fourth-year Ph.D. student (2023βpresent) in a joint Ph.D. program between VinUniversity and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). I work at the Security and Artificial Intelligence Lab (SAIL) and the VinUni-Illinois Smart Health Center (VISHC), co-advised by Prof. Kok-Seng Wong and Prof. Khoa D. Doan.
I am also pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at UIUC, since Fall 2025, under the supervision of Prof. Fan Lai, with a research focus on Efficient Machine Learning, especially in Multi-Agent Systems, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
My research focuses on Trustworthy Machine Learning and Efficient ML Systems, specializing in:
- Backdoor Attacks & Defenses in federated learning
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and LLM Compression
- Multi-Agent Systems and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Distributed ML System Optimization
- Research Papers App: Interactive platform for discovering and filtering research papers from IEEE Xplore, ACM, ScienceDirect, Springer, OpenReview, arXiv, DBLP, and Google Scholar
